My Personal Healing Journey
In 2013 I survived a stroke and was told I might never walk, talk, or nurse as before. Through rehabilitation, faith, and bodywork, I rebuilt strength, deepened empathy, and discovered how profoundly gentle touch supports recovery.
Mentorship And Continuing Legacy
My introduction to the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach began under mentorship with Sue Ellen Strong of Myofascial Freedom. I now continue that lineage, caring for clients in the same Morristown location.

I am Charise Virgo, founder of Wholistic Touch Of Grace, LLC, a medical massage and therapeutic bodywork practice in Morristown. I bring 19 years of pediatric nursing experience together with licensure in massage and advanced training in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach and Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, including infant CST. My clinical background allows me to understand complex health histories, collaborate with other providers, and recognize when referral is needed.
